Rap legend Guru has been battling cancer for about a year and has now succumbed to the disease. As the founding father of the group Gang Starr, he has contributed to some of hip-hop's great classics. Even though he was no longer on good terms with DJ Premiere , together they made one hell of a team, but Guru proved he could still make great music without Primo by putting out the Jazzamataz collection. Guru will be missed.
